Day 02
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast proceed from Kathmandu to Daman Arrive
Daman and transfer to a Resort in Daman. Overnight at
Resort, Daman.
DAMAN
Situated at a height of 2100 m./7500 ft. above sea level
and a distance of 80 kms./50 miles, Daman is known for
its vantage location in viewing the Himalayan peaks
such as Mount Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal,
Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, Cho Oyu etc. There
is a view tower from where one can have a panoramic
view of 300 miles of the Himalayan range. |

Day 03
After breakfast drive from Daman to Chitwan.
Arrive Chitwan, meeting and assistance by the representative
and transfer to Jungle Lodge Resort. Upon arrival refreshing
and briefing about the facilities & jungle activities
by the naturalist.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at Lodge.
Royal Chitwan National Park, Chitwan
The Royal Chitwan National Park is the lush valley of
Chitwan 
situated in the foothills of Churia ranges which houses
the first National Park of the Kingdom. This National
Park is famous for its variety of wildlife especially
the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and the elusive
Royal Bengal Tiger.
At present, there are seven Wildlife Lodges/Camps operating
safari style lodges within the park area and offers
elephant excursions in the heart of the jungle to view
the games. Details of the popular Lodges and their activities
are appended below. An excursion to Chitwan National
Park is possible only from October to May and can be
reached both by air and surface.
Pick-up by Landrover from airport to the Resort. Upon
arrival, there will be a short briefing on the programme
and facilities. Thereafter, rooms will be assigned and
lunch will be provided. |

Day 04
After breakfast full day jungle activities as per their
program. Lunch and Dinner at Lodge.

Day 05
Breakfast at hotel. Drive from Chitwan to Lumbini approximately
2/3 hours drive.
Arrive Lumbini, meeting and assistance by the representative
and transfer to Hotel Lumbini Garden. 
PM: Halfday tour of Lumbini.
Overnight at hotel in Lumbini.
LUMBINI
232 kms/145 miles away from Kathmandu, Lumbini is the
birth place of Lord Buddha. The broken Ashoka Pillar,
remnants of old monastery, images of Buddha's mother
Maya Devi, are still preserved here.
Lumbini can be reached by road from Kathmandu via Pokhara
or Royal Chitwan National Park or by air till Bhairahawa
and then by road. |

Day 06
After breakfast drive from Lumbini to Palpa Tansen,
arrive Palpa Tansen transfer to hotel.
PM: Halfday tour of Palpa Tansen.
Overnight at hotel in Tansen.
TANSEN
Situated on the slopes of a hill called Shreengar Danda,
Tansen is a bright Himalayan Town. It is also the most
popular summer resort of western Nepal on account of
its position and climate. It has perhaps Nepal's most
far stretching views of the country's chief attraction
- The Himalayas; from Dhaulagiri in the west to Gauri
Shanker in the north east. |

Day 07
Breakfast at hotel. Drive from Palpa to Pokhara, arrive
Pokhara and transfer to Hotel. Rest day free.
Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara. POKHARA
The rare combination of snow clad peaks, snow fed lakes
and rivers has helped to make the Valley of Pokhara (210
km./131 miles from Kathmandu) one of the most picturesque
natural attractions in the Kingdom.
A must for all visitors to Pokhara Valley is the Phewa
Lake. A half day excursion of the Pokhara Valley consists
of a visit to the old city, new market, the cap factory
and the Seti Gorge. For people with more time in hand,
can visit the Begnas and Rupa Tal or take a 3 hour hike
to Sarangkot or Hyangja. |

Day 08 POKHARA/
NAYAPUL/ TIRKHEDHUNGA (4900-ft) 4-5 HRS.
Our trekking guide will meet you at the hotel. Drive to
Nayapul for about one and a half hour through the beautiful
Hyanja Valley. From here, you start your trek towards
Tirkhedhunga for overnight lodge. |

Day 09
TIRKHEDHUNGA/ GHOREPANI (9300-ft) 6-7 HRS. WALK
After breakfast, the trail descends and crosses the
river. Then begins a steep walk of two and a half hours
to reach Ulleri Village. You will see a very close view
of Annapurna South. The trail again goes through a dense
Rhododendron forest crossing the river towards Ghorepani.
From here, you will have a good view of Dhaulagiri,
Annapurna South and other mountains. Over night stay
in the lodge. |

Day 10 GHOREPANI/
TATOPANI (3900-ft) 5-6 HRS. WALK
Descend all day to Tatopani passing through the Village
of Chhetri 7700 ft, Shikha 6600 ft, and Ghasa. After crossing
Ghar Khola and Kali Gandaki, trek along the western bank
of Kali Gandaki river for about an hour to reach Tatopani
for overnight lodge. You will enjoy a good bath in the
hot water spring here. |

Day 11
TATOPANI/ GHASA (6600-ft) 5-6 HRS. WALK
Trek along the gorge of Kali Gandaki river crossing
two bridges at points. At Dana 4800 ft, your permits
will be checked by the police. After crossing a beautiful
waterfall, you have to ascend to 9200 ft altitude and
then descend to 6000 ft. Another hour walk along the
bank of Kali Gandaki river and you will reach Ghasa
Village for overnight lodge.. |

Day 12
GHASA/ LARJUNG (8400-ft) 5-6HRS. WALK
After two hours of pleasant trekking along the western
bank of Kali Gandaki, cross Lete Khola by a wooden bridge
and pass through Lete 7500 ft. Walk through the lovely
pine trees along the bank of Kalopani 8000 ft and cross
Depa and towards Larjung for overnight lodge. |

Day 13
LARJUNG/ JOMSOM (8900 ft.) 5-6 HRS. WALK
After passing the village of Khanti 8500 ft and Tukhuche
8485 ft, you will reach Marpha 8760 ft for the lunch
stop. Pass Syang 9000 ft and the Jomsom air-strip to
reach the main Jomsom village on the eastern bank of
Kali Gandaki river. There are Government Offices, Police
and military post, a wireless station and a number of
local shops. End trek and transfer to Resort in Jomsom.

Day 14
Day trip to Kagbeni. O/N Resort in Jomsom.
JOMSOM (8900-ft)/ KAGBENI (9430-ft)/ JOMSOM
5-6 HRS. WALK
After breakfast in Jomsom Mountain Resort, start trek
by crossing the Kaligandaki Bridge (15-min walk from
the Jomsom Mt. Resort) the trail goes to Jomsom village.
After walking about 2 hours on the Kaligandaki riverbank
along with the river flowing on your left to reach Ekley
Bhatti village, followed by the upward slop to reach
Kagbeni in an hour. There is a police check-post as
well as a post office. Kagbeni lies at the bank side
of two rivers, Kaligandaki (flows from Muktinath) and
Nilgiri (flows from Mt. Nilgiri). After lunch, trek
same way back to Jomsom. Overnight at Jomsom Mountain
Resort.

Day 15
After breakfast, early morning fly back to Pokhara.
Afternoon: Halfday sightseeing tour of Pokhara city
& one-hour boat ride at Phewa Lake.

Day 16
After breakfast transfer to domestic airport to connect
flight for Kathmandu.
Arrive Kathmandu, meeting and assistance by the representative
and transfer to Hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city + Swayambhunath.
Overnight at Hotel.
KATHMANDU CITY
Known as Kantipur, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal.
Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess
who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from
the balcony of her temple residence. Kashtamandap -
the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be
made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar
Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the
Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese
Royalty.
SWAYAMBHUNATH
Located approximately 4 kms./2.5 miles, this Buddhist
Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which
forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere
of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire
capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the
four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes
of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas
and Pagoda temples.

Day 17
Breakfast at hotel.
AM: Sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath + Bodhnath.
Evening - Special Nepalese dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight at Hotel. PASHUPATINATH
Situated 5 kms. east of Kathmandu City, Pashupatinath
temple is one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord
Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on
the bank of the sacred Bagmati river, the temple built
in pagoda style has jilted roof and richly carved silver
doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from
the east bank of Bagmati River, entrance in the temple
being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. Pashupatinath
is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of shivaratri
which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the
temple are the cremation grounds. BOUDHA
STUPA
This Stupa, 8 kms. east of Kathmandu City, is one of the
biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four
pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch
for righteous behaviour and human prosperity. This Buddhist
Stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice of the
Goddess Mani Jogini. It is built on an octagonal base
inset with prayer wheels. The shrine is ringed by houses
of Lamas or Buddhist priest. |
